Implantology in Płock –
modern tooth restoration

Implantology is the most effective and reliable way to permanently replace lost teeth. At Panorama Uśmiechu, we start every implant treatment with a thorough consultation and examination to understand the cause of the problem and the patient’s needs. Only then do we use 3D tomography, digital planning and modern surgical techniques to ensure the procedures are safe, precise and comfortable. Implants enable us to replace one or more teeth, or even an entire arch, with natural-looking results and full chewing comfort.

What is a dental implant, and when is it worth having one fitted?

An implant is a titanium screw that replaces the root of a tooth. Once it has fused with the bone, it provides a stable foundation for a crown, bridge or denture. Indications for implantation include:

  • absence of a single tooth (including following extraction),
  • several adjacent teeth are missing,
  • edentulism (reconstruction of the entire arch possible on 4 implants),
  • the need to stabilise a denture,
  • avoiding grinding down healthy teeth for a bridge.

Implants function just like natural teeth — they are strong, stable and aesthetic.

Why are implants worth it?

Dental implants are a solution that:

  • restore the natural appearance and function of the tooth,
  • do not require grinding of adjacent teeth,
  • prevent bone loss,
  • provide stability and comfort when chewing,
  • lasts for many years, often for the rest of your life,
  • it allows you to eat, smile and speak normally,
  • looks like a natural tooth thanks to an individually fitted crown.

It is the most natural way to permanently restore your teeth.

How does implant treatment work?

The implantation process consists of several important stages for ensuring the safety and durability of the result.

Consultation, examination and 3D dental diagnostics

First, we consult with the patient and conduct a thorough examination of the oral cavity. If indicated, we then perform a CBCT scan to assess:

  • bone quantity and quality,
  • sinus and nerve location,
  • conditions for implantation,
  • possible inflammation.

Based on this information, we plan the position of the implant, determine the scope of the treatment and provide a cost estimate.

Digital implant placement planning

We prepare a precise plan for drill guidance and implant placement.
This makes the procedure:

  • predictable,
  • minimally invasive,
  • safe.

Implant placement

The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. We use atraumatic techniques and modern surgical equipment to make implantation more comfortable and promote faster healing.

Healing period (osseointegration)

The implant fuses with the bone over a period of approximately three to six months. A temporary tooth can be used during this time for aesthetic reasons if necessary.

Prosthetic restoration

After complete healing, we will perform the following:

  • a crown,
  • a bridge,
  • or work covering the entire arch.

Thanks to 3D scanning, the prosthetic work fits perfectly.

FAQ

No, as implantation is performed under local anaesthesia. If necessary, sedation can be used to further reduce stress.

In most cases, yes — your dentist will recommend them as a preventive measure against inflammation. The decision is always made on a case-by-case basis.

Yes, flying after implantation is safe. The exception is extensive bone augmentation or sinus lift procedures, for which we advise against flying for about 14 days.

Yes. The crown is individually matched to the colour, shape, and proportions of your other teeth, so it looks natural.

Most often 3–6 months — this is how long the healing process and integration of the implant with the bone takes. In many cases, it is possible to create a temporary tooth.

Yes — immediate implantation is often possible. The final decision depends on the quality of the bone and whether there is any inflammation present.

In that case, we perform a bone augmentation procedure. This may involve guided bone regeneration, a sinus lift, or vertical or horizontal augmentation.

Just like your own teeth: thorough brushing and flossing, and regular dental hygiene appointments every 6–12 months. This will help to ensure that your implants remain healthy.

Yes. CBCT is the basis for safe and precise treatment planning.
