Dental anaesthesia in Płock –
Comfortable dental treatment
At Panorama Uśmiechu, we ensure that every visit – regardless of the type of procedure – takes place in a calm and safe environment. We use modern methods of local anaesthesia and computer-controlled anaesthesia, and, in justified cases, we also use safe inhalation sedation (nitrous oxide). Thanks to this, dental treatment can be carried out precisely, even in patients who experience severe anxiety before visiting the dentist.
What types of dental anaesthesia do we use at Panorama Uśmiechu?
Local anaesthesia
This is a standard and effective method used for most dental procedures. Each time, we select: the type of anaesthetic, its dose and the technique of administration — individually, taking into account the patient’s safety. The anaesthesia takes effect after a few minutes and usually lasts for 2-3 hours. After the procedure, we recommend avoiding eating, drinking, and biting your cheek until it wears off.
Computerised anaesthesia
A modern system that allows for very precise and controlled administration of the anaesthetic, without the sudden stimuli typical of a traditional injection.
What are the benefits for the patient?
- gentle and gradual administration of anaesthetic,
- control of the dose and rate of application,
- greater peace of mind for sensitive patients and those with dentophobia.
At Panorama Uśmiechu, computerised anaesthesia is available in every surgery.
Inhalation sedation (nitrous oxide, laughing gas)
A safe method of reducing tension and stress — recommended for children and adults who feel anxious about treatment.
How does it work?
- the patient breathes a mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide,
- after a few minutes, a feeling of relaxation and calmness appears,
- the patient remains conscious and responds to the doctor’s instructions.
Sedation:
- facilitates cooperation between the patient and the doctor,
- allows several procedures to be performed calmly during a single visit,
- can be used alone or as support before local dental anaesthesia.
We use it from the age of 3. For safety reasons, we recommend a 2-hour break from eating and drinking before sedation.
